I just recently completed a move from Memphis, TN to Greer, SC and used Cord Moving as my moving company. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional level of service provided from beginning to end. Corey Loeffler quoted me on my services and was both timely and acted with a sense of urgency in putting together a competitive package that made an easy decision in choosing Cord over other competitors. Shannon Calhoun handled the scheduling and was continually flexible and responsive in adjusting our plan (multiple times) after our initial contract fell through on the house we were selling. She made herself available anytime I had a question and would even check-in multiple time to ensure that everything was moving along smoothly. Finally Kenny was over the packing, driving, and unloading and made it evident through the entire process that it was very important to make sure everything was adequately packed and documented while efficiently coordinating and aiding his assistants. Also for your information, I priced the move with both Atlas and Summit moving company and spoke with a few local companies on the phone. The customer service was lacking in my opinion and pricing was less competitive while only offering nonbinding agreements. Everything went amazingly well – your guys were great. They were courteous and professional, but also very personable and funny. We couldn’t believe how fast it all went – we would NEVER have been able to pull that off by ourselves! The driver was superb. The loading in St. Louis went fast and without a hitch. The unloading went well except for a rain shower Nothing was broken. The only problem we found was that the folks who helped the driver in Austin (Round Rock) did not put the bed headboards and frames, as well as the dressers’ mirrors back together properly. We had to undo them and put them together properly. I blame no one for that because the folks who tried to put the beds and dresser mirrors back together were not the ones who took them apart in S1 Louis. Therefore they had no idea how things really had been. We have been very satisfied with the move and are very grateful to you, your company and especially to the driver. Can you believe it? I asked him in S1.Louis when we could expect him to drive up to of house in Round Rock, Texas, and he said on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Precisely, not a minute early and not a minute late, he pulled up the big rig in front of our new home in Texas. Amazing. We are also very grateful to your wife at CORD. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all of your help with our move from Missouri to Georgia. I ended up spending less than planned which was a wonderful surprise! You made me feel comfortable and re-assured throughout the entire move. Doing business with Cord and North American was ten thousand times better than my last move with Roma. It’s nice to finally find a sincere, honest moving company. The fact that you took the extra time to answer all of my questions and concerns really made the difference, and bringing the regional vice president by on the day of my move was like the icing on top. Your movers packed all of my furniture items better than I’ve seen any other company. They wrapped each piece in plastic wrap and padding, and took extra special care not to damage a single item. There wasn’t a new scratch in my past home after pick-up or in my new home after drop off. All of my belongings made it safe to Georgia, and not a single thing was broken or damaged. In fact, only one thing was missing at my new address which was the center leg to my dresser. The driver apologized, and had the leg promptly delivered to me within one to two days. A minuscule mistake that was greatly outweighed by the service provided. You and your employees have done spectacular work, and I will be happily using your company for all of my future moves, as well as, referring you to all of my friends and family. I feel that you truly care about your customers and the ethics behind a business. I would like to commend Albert Lujan for his expertise, courtesy, outstanding support, and readily availability for all the activities associated with the house sale and move. Even these compliments do not completely describe the awesome job he did as my consultant. He is a great attribute to Altair!! Secondly, I would like to recognize Wanda Hunter for her excellent work and support which she provided in the move coordination. And finally, I would like to thank Holly McDermott for her role in providing the temporary housing options. She has also been a valuable asset during the relocation activities. All of the Altair representatives provided me with excellent service and it has been very much appreciated. Comments: I gave the Overall Third Party service company experience a poor rating due to the initial crating of my valuables, were in my opinion, not up to professional and experienced standards. I spoke with military member Carl Johnston today and he shared with me that after 23 yrs in the military that his recent move from Colorado Springs, Co to New Baden, IL was by far the best move he and his family have ever had. He asked me to share with you that the driver Lou Lichtsinn deserves a medal for the wonderful job he did. He said that Lou was the greatest driver hands down that he has ever had. He also spoke very highly of the destination crew and the amazing job they did. He said they handled his belongings with great care and that they were fast and efficient as well. Just wanted to thank you for all the help in moving the orders for Chili’s over the past few months. But I hate to say we are down to the last handful of stores for phase one. Gail and Kurt were absolutely amazing. 5-6 broken dishes and glasses but very minor considering that I had 85 boxes! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!!
