For over 10 years Cord Moving and Storage Company in Saint Louis, MO has received, warehoused and then distributed the largest fundraiser for the Girls Scouts of America the Girl Scout Cookies.
Cord Moving has received 23 truckloads of cookies with 26 skids on each so they are currently storing 598 skids of cookies. Each skid has between 135 and 200 cases of cookies on them depending on the flavor. Currently, there are 106,408 cases which break down to 1,276,896 boxes of cookies. Typically each truck takes 2 hours, including unloading, checking in and then stacking. The real work for the staff at Cord Moving and Storage and hours will come when they start pulling orders and sending them out for delivery and line pickups.
