Hi,
My name is Vasanth Kumar from India working in a Relocation company M/s.Transworld International HO at Bangalore. My designation is National Manager-Sales & Marketing. I look after the entire sales & Sales Development pan India. I was going thru your article which is really a good read. The article talks about customer fulfillment and Intimacy which I'm sure we all do and understand existing customers are testimonials and % increase in sales could be acheived by serving them better which will enable you to acheive better results and by and large narrow the gap bigtime as per your business plan is concerned. Is there something different you all do to acheive your objective or goals?if so could you pls share it with me. The market dynamics or customer buying behaviour more or less are the same across be it US or India. Every company has a benchmark which could be different from each. What I want is we are currently got 60% of the top IT companies as our clients but the challenge here is cost due to overheads and other direct expenses which cannot be ignored therefore our pricings are 30 to 40% higger than our immediate compitators. What will you do if you have situation like what I have mentioned. Pls revert.Rgds VasanthKumar

I literally laughed out loud when I saw this posting on customer service!!!! Here is a brief recap of my move that started in May and is extending into July with no end in site to this nightmare! Let me preface this statement with: WORST MOVE EXPERIENCE EVER!! Weeks late from when my contract stated my household belongings would arrive and still no delivery date in sight. I've left messages with my local rep and with the corporate offices. No one will return my calls and all my rep could tell me was that her "hands were tied, and if she could, she would go back in time and fix things." Basically her way of telling me she wouldn't help in any way. I just found out yesterday that everything I own is sitting in a warehouse 2,000+ miles away from me and STILL has not been picked up!! It was loaded on a tuck in mid-May for delivery and then sent to a warehouse to be added to a larger shipment headed to the West Coast. Well, it was never picked up and is still in the warehouse! I've been sleeping on the floor of my apartment for a week now as I couldn't afford to stay in a hotel anymore, my car finally got here a few days ago (only 20 days late! great job Cord/North American). Yet another expense to me as North American is refusing to cover the cost of my rental car despited the fact that they were far outside their contracted dates for my move. If this is your idea of customer service you have totally missed the mark on this one Cord and North American.
